  	Note from L. Byrd Bailey: "About Rebecca Frances Byrd Davis daughter of Richard and Rebecca Norman Byrd. According to her death certificate she had an accident on June 18, 1953, fell and fractured a hip and apparently developed Pneumonia. She died on Aug. 8,1953. She lived in Iola, Grimes Co., Texas and was buried in Lake Grove Cemetary. This information came from a small booklet titled, Decendants of Richard Byrd Rebecca Norman Mary Jane Vinson Their Families From Alabama to New Mexice Via Texas. I do not know when it was published."
